Friday afternoon meeting in East Haven suspended until facilitator recovers

Joe, the facilitator for our East Haven meeting at the Hagaman Memorial Library on Friday afternoons, has been suffering from a severe health problem since April. He has reluctantly decided to suspend the Friday afternoon meeting until he’s well enough to facilitate again.

Fortunately, we have many other meetings in the New Haven area.

Best wishes to Joe for a speedy recovery, and thanks again to the Hagaman for providing the space and supporting the meeting.

Prescription and Over-the-Counter drug drop bin at Woodbridge Police Department

I happened to be at the Woodbridge, Connecticut, Police Department and noticed that they have a drop bin for unused prescription and over-the-counter drugs. Many police departments participate in the annual DEA national prescription drug take-back day, but you don’t have to wait for this. Not only do many pharmacies take unused prescription meds, you may well be able to drop them off at your local police department.
